Geologist/Environmental Scientist/Environmental Engineer (2/5/19)

AES is seeking an experienced geologist, environmental scientist, or environmental engineer to assist with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Site Investigations, and Site Remediation.  Part-time, but may range up to full-time.

Role and Responsibilities:

Project Manager / Geologist/Env Scientist/Env Engineer with documented experience in the oil & gas industry; leaking underground storage tank (LUST) sites; and Phase I/II environmental due diligence/all appropriate inquiry projects in NM, CO, AZ.  This qualified individual will be responsible for the preparation of client and agency reports, budgets and technical proposals.  Oversight of contractors and the collection/evaluation of field data will also be required.  Must meet the USEPA qualifications of Environmental Professional.


  • B.S. Degree in Geology; Environmental Science; or Environmental Engineering;
  • PG, PE preferred;
  • Demonstrated experience with oil/gas, leaking storage tanks, Phase I/Phase II.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and MS365 applications; GIS/Autocad ability preferred.

  • Strong project management and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to listen and collaborate with peers, subordinates and clients.
