Animas Environmental Services (AES) is a small, busy company with two office locations, one in Farmington, NM and another in Durango, CO. AES has been in business for 15 years and provides a smaller, friendlier environment than some of our large competitors. We offer a chance to work on a wide variety of projects including environmental permitting and planning; site investigation and remediation; stormwater management for construction; and environmental monitoring and sampling. We are located in the Four Corners Area (nationally known for great biking, hiking, fishing, rafting, skiing, snowboarding, and touring of historic and prehistoric sites). Assist with assessments/investigations of soil and groundwater for petroleum releases associated with oil/gas production locations in the Farmington/Four Corners Region. Tasks include monitoring and sampling of wastewater, drinking water, groundwater and stormwater. This is not a supervisory position. Travel is required in the San Juan Basin (Four Corners area), with some travel in southern New Mexico.
Must be able to drive to project sites within the San Juan Basin, up to 3 hours each way in a day, lift 25 - 50 lbs. and be comfortable with the use and maintenance of field equipment. Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol screening upon hire and on a random basis after hire.
